Safe-Patient Handling/Resident Handling Training

Healthcare workers experience some of the highest workplace injury rates in the U.S. with overexertion as the leading cause. NYS healthcare workers suffer more overexertion injuries than laborers and freight, stock and material movers.

WNYCOSH offers a Train-the-Trainer series, as well as our Safe Patient Handling training series that was developed to address any gaps in existing programs.
